You can get that gorgeous, sun-kissed glow without ever having to walk outside, just by using Bronzer Cosmetics. Bronzers are great for women who want their skin to look healthy without the dangers of sun tanning, and for women who would like to be able to even out their skin tone.

A great bronzer guarantees light coverage, does not contain irritants, fragrance, talc or oil and is dermatologically-tested and approved. Bronzers contain skin-soothing minerals that nourish your skin while concealing imperfections.

Every woman’s makeup kit should contain the following essentials: loose powder, concealer, and a great bronzer like The Sugar Cosmetics Bronzer, or the Sugar Cosmetics Tropic Tan Bronzer for those with a deeper skin tone. With these makeup essentials, you can make sure that you always look incredible without piling on the makeup, giving you natural-looking perfect skin.

Remember to always get makeup products that are near your natural skin tone. Don’t try to save money by buying cosmetics that are of poor quality. You may end up with an allergic reaction. Makeup is an investment, so make sure you settle only for the best.

How To Find The Best Bronzers

For the biggest selection of great-quality bronzers, go on the Internet. You can research on what kind of bronzers will look good on your skin tone. However, if you would like to try out the bronzers for yourself to see how they would actually look like on your skin, you should go to local stores. Most stores have free samples which you could use to do a trial. Check if the bronzer you chose looks good on you by applying a few drops onto the skin on your wrist and blending well.

Once you’ve found your shade, you should get more information about the available products by reading online reviews at legitimate review websites. Since there is an overwhelming number of bronzer brands out in the market, you can try and narrow down your search by listing three of the best bronzers. Read more reviews about your three selections, and be sure to read comments from people who have actually tried the product themselves and were pleased with it. If the reviews aren’t that great, go to the next one on your list. It’s critical that you choose a bronzer that would enhance your features. With just a little more research (and patience), you will ultimately find the best product that meets your beauty requirements.

Don’t hesitate to research and shop around. Doing so allows you to know more about your options so you can make an informed choice. You can also ask your makeup-loving friends to recommend the best bronzer cosmetics. If you put in a little effort and time, you can definitely find a bronzer that’s safe, reasonably priced, and, most importantly, makes you look great! Also learn about your choices in benefit concealers.

Mineral Makeup: Are these new cosmetics right for you? (Keyword: Mineral Makeup)

Women around the world have been applying makeup to their faces for thousands of years. Mineral foundations are a concealer, foundation and multi-purpose powder all-in-one.Mineral makeup by Mineral secrets is a very different cosmetic. Mineral makeup is one of the fastest growing trends in the cosmetics industry in recent years. It’s versatility, light-weight feel, ease of use, and non-comedogenic properties appeal to a new wave of cosmetic wearers who are demanding more natural choices for their skincare regime. The best qualities of mineral makeup are the following: a light-weight feel with the option of layering for more coverage as needed, the simplicity of an all-in-one concealer and foundation.

Mineral makeup can cause problems the same as any other put together can cause problems. Mineral makeup does not irritant skin conditions like rosacea, post laser or acne like other products can. Mineral Secrets mineral cosmetics will help you achieve what you want with makeup! A four in one cosmetic (sun screen, concealer, base, powder) mineral makeup saves you money, time, and is actually good for your skin. A pure mineral makeup is combined with inorganic pigments to achieve the desired color. None of the artificial colors, preservatives or fragrances that one may find in chemical based makeup should be present. Other possible benefits of mineral makeup may include mineral based makeup may also act as a natural sunscreen.

If the powder particles don’t penetrate the skin, then pure mineral makeup is less likely to be inflammatory or otherwise irritate sensitive skin. When using mineral makeup, it is best to start with a clean slate. Using Herbs of Grace all natural handmade soaps or facial cleansers will get you off to a great start.Herbs of grace Powder/Foundation can also be used to set your makeup after you’ve applied eyeshadow, blush and lipstick. Tap a very small amount of powder into the lid of your container, and as before, use your Kabuki brush to apply a very sheer layer of powder over your entire face and neck. For eye shadow, dip the eye shadow brush of your choice, tap off excess, and apply sparingly. Choose a lighter color to highlight under the brow area, and a darker color in the crease as a shader.

Mineral Makeup Tips

1. Mineral make up is available in forms of foundations and loose powder.

2. Choose a darker shade of Herbs of Grace Colors for lining the eye.

3. To create a liquid liner, use the same technique used with the eyeliner above.

4. Don’t apply the liner on a closed eye–gently pull the outer corner of the eye sideways.

5. Use the same techniques for filling in lip color as used with the lip liner.

6. Using your chosen shade of Color, tap a small amount of powder into the container lid.

7. Use clear nail polish and simply dip the nail polish brush into the desired Herbs of Grace Color and apply to nails.

8. Use a darker base as a contour or bronzer. This makes the skin come alive and also increases the sun protection

How to apply bronzer: the secret to a healthy looking glow the safe way by using a bronzing makeup in any form you can find or prefer. Bronzer is a great way to have your makeup look fresh, your skin look healthy, and destination brides the bronzer is your friend when it comes to do it yourself bridal makeup.

As a professional makeup artist, I consider using bronzer a staple in my makeup case. Personally as a makeup wearer: I don’t leave home with out it.

Bronzer can come in a loose powder, a pressed compact, a liquid stain, or gel stick. The first secret to your bronzer success is that it be applied in the right areas.

When you look at your face in the mirror, find the high points that would get the most sun. The forehead, tops of cheeks, nose and chin. I would include the very middle of your eyelids and top of your chest also because if you have ever gotten a really good sunburn or tan, these areas get colored as well.

Imagine a W pattern across your face. If you placed the bronzer product on the top of the W, working from left to right of the letter as if it were placed on your face.

The bronzer colors the top of your left temple, down the cheek to the chin, then up over the nose and forehead and down the right side of your cheek, chin and finish at the top of your right temple.

The powder bronzer is the most common and it’s usually pressed into a compact. A large domed fluffy brush will give the best application that looks subtle and natural. When you move into using sponges or fingers, it puts a lot of product in one area that then has to be blended down into the skin to look natural.

If you are using a gel or liquid bronzer, apply it to freshly moisturized or over a liquid foundation so there is a lot of slip on the skin to blend with.

If you want to use your bronzer as a blush and have a deep brown/bronze looking blush, then just swirl your powder/blush brush into the product, knock off the excess and apply to the apples of your cheeks.

A very 1980′s retro look would be to swish the bronzer through the hollow of the cheek in a kidney bean shape. You apply bronzer this way by sucking in your cheeks and making fish lips then applying the bronzer in a sweeping motion from the hollow of the cheek, pass under the cheek bone and back towards the ear and hairline.

Bronzer as a cosmetic is by far one of the most versatile and I recommend having two shades.

One for every day use and all over the face and the second slightly darker shade for contouring or creating a very deep tan look and using over larger parts of your body.

Some of my favorite products for bronzing are:

FAKE BAKE, Physician’s formula two toned bronzing compact, Benefit Cosmetics Hoola, Cargo, Lorac and the Sephora store brand.

The bronzer can be brushed along your neck, collarbone, dcollet and when you have lines from wearing different style tanks and swimsuits in the summertime it can be brushed on easily to the areas that need more color and washed off with our fear of staining or streaking.

Now you know how to apply bronzer in any form you prefer and keep on hand for the upcoming busy holiday season parties and just looking healthy.

The Product

Virtually no allergy risk, natural mineral cosmetics allow skin to breath. Talc free, chemical free, and dye free natural cosmetics recommended by plastic surgeons and dermatologists, are created from powdered minerals. Their consistency and mineral content act together to calm the most sensitive skin.

Over time mineral cosmetics actually improve your skin. Since your skin is allowed to breathe through the mineral foundation, no oily barrier preventing oxygen from reaching your skin, the texture and tone of your skin improve. Microscopic fibers fill up those tiny lines in your skin and give your complexion a natural healthy glow.

The best part of natural cosmetics is their ability to add a youthful glow while protecting your skin from harmful solar rays. Consisting of mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxides, ultramarine, zinc oxide, mineral foundation is particularly well suited to use as a sunscreen. Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are both used in high quality sun blocks. These cancer fighting sun-blocking agents are both in most mineral make up products.

Mineral cosmetics are ideal for anyone suffering from acne or post surgical skin procedures. In most instances acne improves after extended periods of using mineral make up because titanium dioxide does not promote the growth of bacteria as some cosmetics may. Due to the dry formula of mineral cosmetics, ingredients such as talc, dye, and perfume are not added. Therefore mineral cosmetics offer a chemical free option to popular cosmetic choices.

100 percent natural cosmetics provide excellent coverage, staying power, and creaseless beauty all day long. Natural anti-drying agents help to seal in moisture and prevent clogged pores. Mineral cosmetics dusted on liberally with special high quality brushes fill tiny lines and hide blemishes, leaving a soft healthy glow and sun protections. Because they don’t have to be reapplied during the day, they reduce stress and increase the happy factor in your life.

The Application

Foundation gives your face a flawless silky glow that reflects health with fine texture and uniform color. A little goes a long way. It is always best to start your make up application with clean fresh skin. If you choose to use moisturizer, it must be fully absorbed before applying mineral cosmetics.

To conceal any flaws: Lightly brush mineral foundation over any areas where flaws exist. Light layers cover better than one heavy layer; so go lightly.

Mineral foundation should be applied to dry skin, moisture will make it cake and appear uneven on your skin. Using a brush to apply the foundation in circular motions results in flawless coverage.

Blusher or bronzing powder should be applied as a highlighting accent to your face and completed with a finishing powder to set your make up.

Eye shadow can be applied either wet or dry, using a shadow brush, apply lightly and add more as needed. A bit of bronzer is an excellent eye shadow choice for daytime wear.

Using a light touch and the right brushes will help you achieve that dewy glow of youth and good health. These products are inexpensive and long lasting, making them an excellent choice for everyday cosmetic needs.

The history of cosmetics and makeup goes back a few thousand years. Depending on what century one was born in cosmetics and makeup had different meanings for different people throughout each century. You should also know that cosmetics and makeup have different definitions. Here you will learn the difference.

Cosmetics are anything applied to the face or body in order to improve your appearance. Cosmetics include anything from cold cream, hand cream, eye cream, astringent, after-shave lotion, suntan lotion, talcum, bath powder, body paint, solid perfume, bath oil, bath gel, hair dye, hair bleach, mouthwash, nail polish remover, mustache wax, facial pack, mud pack, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, cream rinse, hair mousse, styling gel, hair spray, shaving soap, shaving cream, shaving foam, depilatory, deodorant, antiperspirant and the usual facial makeup.

Makeup is a branch of cosmetics that has to do with beautifying of the face. So, eyebrow pencil, mascara, eye shadow, eye liner, rouge, blusher, toner, lip slicker, face slicker, lipstick, lip rouge, lip liner, lip gloss, powder base, moisturizer, foundation, loose powder, pressed powder, bronzer and pancake makeup comprise a small part of cosmetics.

The first evidence of cosmetics usage is found in ancient Egypt around 4000 BC. The Romans and Egyptian used cosmetics containing mercury and white lead. Ancient Egyptians had a wide extent of make-up tools. One of them is kohl, which was used to outline the eyes. Kohl is made up of lead, copper, burned almonds, soot, and other ingredients one of which may have been arsenic. It was believed that eye makeup could ward off evil spirits and improve the sight. Even the poor wore eye make-up in ancient Egypt.

Cosmetics were also used in Persia and what is today the Middle East. One of the earliest cosmetologists was the physician Abu a-Qasim al-Zahrawi, or Abulcasis (936-1013 AD), who wrote the 30-volume medical encyclopedia Al-Tasrif. A chapter of the 19th volume was dedicated to cosmetics. Al-Zahrawi considered cosmetics a branch of medicine, which he called “Medicine of Beauty.”

During the early years of the 20th century, makeup became fashionable in the United States and Europe. But the most influential new development of all was that of the movie industry in Hollywood. Among those who saw the opportunity for mass-marketing cosmetics were Max Factor, Sr., Elizabeth Arden, and Helena Rubinstein.

Flapper style era influenced the cosmetics of the 1920s, which embraced dark eyes, red lipstick, red nail polish, and the suntan, invented as a fashion statement by Coco Chanel. Previously, suntans had only been sported by agricultural workers, while fashionable women kept their skins as pale as possible. In the wake of Chanel’s adoption of the suntan, dozens of new fake tan products were produced to help both men and women achieve the “sun-kissed” look. In Asia, skin whitening continued to represent the ideal of beauty, as it does to this day. During the 1960s and 1970s, many women in the western world influenced by feminism decided to go without any cosmetics. Cosmetics in the 1970s were divided into a “natural look” for day and a more sexualized image for evening.

Cosmetics and makeup in ancient times stood for symbolism of the class of your family. Throughout the years, men and women have used makeup for different reasons. As of today, cosmetics and makeup is used or not used by people who want to make a statement one way or the other.

Women are getting pickier about their make-ups these days. Most women are now looking for hypo-allergenic cosmetic sets for the simple fact that they don’t harm the skin. As such, cosmetics are getting more natural. The core ingredient of these products is getting purer and purer, leaving no room for artificial colorings and ingredients. And this is what natural mineral makeup is all about.

Make-ups are considered pure if they are made with ingredients naturally occurring around us. These choice ingredients are then processed delicately and purely, without infusing them with chemicals and other harmful substances. The chemicals additives in ordinary make-up are fragrances, animal by-products, perfume, lanolin, talc, fillers, parabens, and binders. These ingredients, if used for extended periods of time, can be harmful to the skin. Natural mineral makeup, on the other hand, doesn’t contain any of these. What they have are pure, cosmetic-grade minerals such as mica, titanium oxide, and zinc oxide.

With more manufacturers looking to create natural make-ups, people have better option. These quality cosmetics are mild to the skin while providing for an extensive coverage. Keep in mind that the more natural mineral content the makeup has, more fine ingredients it contains. And that also means it has less or none of the harmful chemicals and preservatives.

Natural mineral makeup looks and works like regular cosmetics, only better. They also come in many types, shades, and forms. There will always be one perfect for your skin tone. Foundations, eye shadows, bronzers, and blushers of all colors are easily available, in the shades you want to wear. Using this alternative would hide all the imperfections and flaws of your skin, as they work way better than ordinary mineral cosmetics.

If most make-ups tend to leave your skin dull and dry, this one is different. It is delicate to the face and skin, giving you a healthier complexion with every use. There are also lesser chances of developing allergic reactions. And it does everything more than just leaving you shining, confident and beautiful at all times.

Provide your skin some breathing room. Undo all the damages unnatural make-ups had done to it. Make the switch now. You don’t have to withstand all the rashes and irritation your current make-up gives you. Go for the rosy glow only from a natural mineral make-up. Let it bring out your innermost beauty and shine. Let it bring out the best in you all the time.

The technology of airbrushing foundation and other makeup onto the face and body is not entirely new. Stream Cosmetics is the latest company to join the airbrushing world, and despite claiming to be the first to bring the technology to the everyday home (untrue) they are the first to offer a home based business opportunity (pyramid type marketing) along with their airbrushing makeup tools and supplies.

Upon closer inspection, which one of Stream Cosmetics’ areas of endeavor really stands out from the crowd? Let’s have a look.

Starting with the makeup, there really isn’t anything they are offering that other airbrushing companies aren’t already offering, except their matte foundation is supposed to last for fifty hours (really??)- which is pretty hardcore! Other than that they offer a selection of foundations, primers, highlighters, blushes, bronzers and eye and lip colors which is pretty standard of any makeup company. Non-airbrush products they offer include a felt-tip pen style eyeliner, a concealer and setting powder. They also have an airbrush tanning system, but this is also not a new innovation in airbrush technology.

Their makeup is definitely on the expensive side, with a quarter ounce bottle of foundation costing $28, which is more than double what some of the leading airbrushing companies charge, but they also say that their foundations contain humectants and antioxidants, which would be more nourishing for the skin. Overall nothing looks bad, but this is not a revolution in airbrush makeup, just a new label. They are actually a new marketing arm for Luminess Air. Do a Google search for Luminess Air reviews for more details on their industry reputation.

Onto the business side of things. Their business model seems to be along the lines of Avon and Amway, where independent distributors sign up with the company and sell the products with a percentage of profits. So it may soon be “Stream Cosmetics calling” that we hear ringing across America. Although the Stream Cosmetics products are available for single purchase through their website, the big drive of the company seems to be in the way of the distributors, which could work in their favor wonderfully (like it did for Avon) or could be a big disaster – as they are such a new company we’ll have to wait and see on that one. Hundreds of new Multi Level Marketing companies start every month and very few succeed.

Distributors can sign up with Stream Cosmetics for a mere $50, and there is no investment in inventory required, which is pretty attractive. Of course it is not a something for nothing deal, so it requires a lot of drive to make this at-home business work because in order to progress through the distributor levels one needs to be recruiting new distributors, selling products and making sure the distributors underneath them keep on going too – if one does succeed, then there are quite a few perks at the top of the scale, but this could no doubt be tough to achieve.

The real test for this company though is to see if its makeup can stand up to the leading competitors already established in the market – because if they don’t have a good product to sell, then no matter how good their business plan is, it won’t flourish.

Cosmetics are designed for beautifying the body, especially face. Women all across the world commonly use cosmetics. Women usually have them in their house and accompany them along while traveling to places for retaining the look of their facial skin including that of eyes, eyebrows, lips and cheeks.

As always, the beauty industry is booming and in recent times, numerous makers of cosmetic products offer a variety of cosmetics. Women usually wear makeup mostly to be a center of attraction at parties, get-togethers and events and to show off your beauty.

No matter whatever your purpose is, having beauty cosmetics at home and in your handbag is a wise idea indeed. Of late, a number of cosmetic product makers have made it possible for women and girls to order cosmetic products directly from the comfort of their homes via the Internet. Thus, you may look forward to buying beauty items online.

Women are choosy, when it comes to stocking lipstick in their makeup box. They are very keen while selecting lipstick, as they feel that this beauty item has to go along well with their lips and perfectly match the texture and color of their skin. While some like the dark and bright colored lipsticks, some go for light and natural colors.

Lips are primary attention grabbers while interaction. Whether you communicate with one person or offer lip service addressing a larger audience, onlookers mainly concentrate on your lips and as such, having a lipstick that steals the show and makes you stand out of the crowd is something you need to stock for sure in your makeup kit.

While shopping for lipsticks, women may pick them in neutral shades, specifically in bronze handy or pink, along with one red lipstick. Moreover, for eye care, you might definitely want to have mascara, which is used to darken and thicken the eyelashes. Mascara livens up your entire look in just a few minutes.

Mascara for eye makeup not only benefits those aging women, who have big eyes, but also suits girls those in their teenage years, no matter of what dimension their eyes are. Your eyes appear ravishing and out of the world for those looking at you. Women and girls may consider having mascara that is water-based offering a well-defined and clear finish to the eyes.

Next, among cosmetics, you may want a concealer to complete your makeup foundation. It is important to have if you do not possess an impeccable complexion. Women use it for hiding skin blemishes and ugly pimples. It offers you radiant clear complexion. It is available as liquid and however, a lipstick version of it shows better results.

Women looking forward to stocking some beauty cosmetics may even consider having bronzer as one more addition in their routine makeup kit. It transforms your complexion and lends it a unique look. Make sure to choose a bronzer that does not stain garments.

Overall, if you want to control the aging of your skin all on your own, having some essential cosmetics handy is never a bad idea.

Sacha Cosmetics is a great place to buy beauty cosmetics, so why wait just visit sachacosmetics.com

MINERAL COSMETICS MINERAL MAKEUP USERS GUIDE

Applying Loose Mineral Makeup Foundations

Tap a small amount of powder into the top and swirl your brush into it (for best results we recommend using a Kabuki brush). Tap the bottom of the handle with the brush head facing upward on a hard surface (e.g. Bathroom counter). This settles the powder into the brush head. Firmly spread powder on clean, dry skin to evenly blend pigments.

For blemishes, a separate concealer is not needed. Use a shader brush to apply small amounts to the problem areas and blend well. For those with dry, flaky skin, loose mineral foundation can be blended with our specially formulated cream to create a cream foundation. First moisturize as usual, then tap a small amount of powder into the palm of the hand. Add a drop of moisturizer. Blend the two products together until a smooth, creamy consistency is achieved. Use your fingers or make-up wedge to apply.

Applying Loose Mineral Cosmetics Veils

Mineral Veil can be worn alone or over Mineral Foundation. Tap a small amount of powder into the top and swirl your brush into it (for best results I recommend using a Flat top bronzer brush). Tap the bottom of the handle with the brush head facing upward on a hard surface (e.g. Bathroom counter). Brush powder on and blend well.

Applying Mineral Makeup Bronzers

Remove the seal from the sifter, and place the Bronzer brush directly against the sifter holes. Turn both upside down and tap the jar just a little so some powders gets on the brush bristles.

Lift the brush and gently tap the bottom of it on a flat surface to settle the powder into the head. Gently brush the Bronzer on cheeks, cheekbones, and anywhere else you want to add warm tones. The only mistake you can make is to use too much. For darker color, apply a second layer.

Applying Mineral Cosmetics Ultra Mattes For Eyes – Recommended brushes: firm shadow brush, angle liner.

Ultra-Mattes for Eyes can be used as eye shadow or contour color, or as liquid liner. To use as an eye shadow, tip the container at an angle, and tap it until some powder rests on the edge of the sifter. Gently swirl a firm shadow brush into the powder, and then tap the handle of the brush onto the side of the container, letting excess powder fall back into the jar. Apply the shadow with short, firm strokes, then follow up with a swipe of a blending brush until all visible lines are softened. For liquid liner, wet an angled liner brush, then dip the wet brush into the powder. Make a creamy paste on the back of your hand or in the top of the container. The consistency should not be runny. Then trace a thin line around the lash, staying as close to the lash as possible. Once the liner has dried, it can be left as-is, or smudged with the firm shadow brush for a softer effect.

Multi-Purpose Mineral Makeup Powders

Directions

Eye Shadow ~ Use any color from our collection as eye shadow. Simply dip an eye shadow brush into the desired color and apply to your eyelids. Choose a lighter color as a highlighter to apply under the brow. Use a darker color in the crease as a shader.

Blush ~ Because our product is so pure, the use of a blush brush will only waste your product. Instead, use a cotton ball and lightly touch the tip into the desired color. Apply along the cheekbone and blend well.

Eye Liner ~ Dip your liner brush into water. Then wet applicator into the desired color. Mix the powder and water together on the back of your hand or in a separate container to create a creamy liquid liner. Dip the eyeliner brush into the liquid and carefully apply to the upper and/or lower lids, staying as close to the lashes as possible.

Lip Color ~ Dip your lip brush into your clear lip gloss/lip balm and then into the desired color. Apply the mix to your lips and blend well. Add more powder to deepen the color.

Nail Polish ~ Because the pigment contains no dye, you do not need to apply a base coat. Simply use clear nail polish and dip the brush into the desired color and paint onto nails. For a darker color, use more powder. You can also mix the pigments into colored nail polish to change its tint.

Body Shimmer/Highlighter ~ Use a cotton ball and lightly touch it into the desired color. Dust the powder onto your shoulder, face, chest, etc., for a healthy glow. Certain colors can also be used as bronzers

EXTRA TIPS

If your mineral makeup foundation appears pasty, here are a few possibilities:

1. The brush! Unfortunately, the right brush is an absolute necessity when applying loose mineral cosmetics foundations. The best brush for mineral makeup foundation is a Kabuki brush. Kabuki brushes have a very high density of hair- short, firm, and soft to boot. Think of how hard it is to spread cold butter on untoasted bread with a plastic knife. This is what is happening when you’re using the brushes (however expensive and high-quality they may be) that you already own. Even bronzer brushes that look similar may not have firm or dense enough hair to accomplish the task. The result? Too much makeup, not well spread, sticking in all of the wrong places, definitely not natural-looking!

2. Too much product on the brush: Mineral makeup is very concentrated. It is made up of pure pigment; the same pigments that cosmetics companies use to add color to pressed and liquid foundations. Because there is little if any ‘filler” in this type of powder, it is imperative that you put just a little bit of powder on your brush and use that on one cheek. Buff it in well in a circular motion before applying more. How much is enough? If you follow the basic mineral foundation instructions found on the loose mineral makeup foundation product page, you should get the right amount on the brush: Basically, you press the head of the brush directly against the holes of the sifter, tip the whole unit upside down, tap the jar a bit, and then lift the brush off of the sifter. There should be a light dusting of powder on the brush head, and that amount is sufficient to cover at least one cheek, if not the whole face. You can always add another layer, so start with less.

3. The wrong shade: This is especially an issue with women of color. If you have a golden undertone, and the color you apply has a blue or neutral undertone, your face may appear grayish or pasty. It is not necessarily that the product is too light, or has the “wrong” formula for your skin, just the wrong undertone. Don’t assume that mineral cosmetics don’t “work” on ethnic skin. Be persistent until you find a shade that at least comes close. Blending loose mineral makeup foundation shades together, is as simple as shaking the jar, and blending one color with another may achieve that perfect shade that you’re looking for!

4. Not enough “buffing”: Have you ever watched someone (usually a guy!) buff a coat of wax onto their car? They buff for a loooong time! This creates a smooth, silky appearance that simply applying the wax would never achieve. Do the same with your mineral makeup foundation. Buffing with the brush actually brings out the qualities of the minerals. Use a firm (Don’t be afraid to be firm, our brushes are very soft) touch, and in a circular motion, blend, or spread the makeup around the cheeks, down the jaw line, over the nose. Do this several times, and you will begin to see your face glow and your skin look flawless and utterly natural.
